Here’s a first look at the units at Pok Oi Residences, currently under construction in the heart of Boston’s vibrant Chinatown neighborhood. These spacious 1, 2, and 3 bedroom apartments will soon provide 85 new affordable homes for individuals and families at or below 80% of the area’s median income.
The units are designed to meet Passive House sustainability standards with modern finishes and thoughtful layouts, creating a welcoming space for all.

Yesterday, Lillian, one of our talented co-op students from @wths_2024 School had the opportunity to guide her classmates on a tour of the Cove!
Since joining NEI in March, she’s made a remarkable impact and will continue her journey with us throughout her Senior year.
Lillian shared her firsthand experiences and highlighted the incredible benefits of the co-op program. It’s a great example of how partnerships like these empower students with real-world skills and open doors to successful careers in the skilled trades.

Located in Roxbury, MA, The Kenzi features 50 stylish 1- and 2-bedroom apartments for residents to age in place. Amenities include a community space, health center, landscaped areas, and a private terrace.
Built to @passivehouseinstituteus Passive House standards, The Kenzi is energy-efficient and includes Boston`s first battery emergency backup system for added safety. We can’t wait to see the positive impact on the community!

We’re happy to announce the graduation of the 2024 @bridge2trades cohort at Patriot Place in Foxboro! NEI partnered with Bridge 2 Trades, a program founded by New England Patriots` Captain @deatrich to provide students practical, real-world exposure and training across various industries, starting with construction.
Over the past six weeks, students gained valuable skills, earning key certifications like OSHA 10, First Aid, CPR, and Narcan. They explored drone operation, Building Information Modeling (BIM), and participated in hands-on training in plumbing and electrical work through site visits to local union training facilities.
A big thank you to Deatrich Wise Jr. for his vision, Taisha Crayton for her leadership, and to Andre` Barbour’ and Shanice Marshall for their support.
