André Barbour

As NEI’s Diversity and Inclusion Director, André supports project management, project owners/developers, subcontractors, and other programs and organizations with compliance requirements on each project. André brings a solid foundation in community engagement and workforce development through working in various neighborhoods in Boston while monitoring and overseeing diverse worker and business participation. With 12 years of experience, André supports NEI’s efforts to enhance diverse business and workforce utilization. André’s efforts allow NEI to participate more fully in the community and economic development interests of the company’s clients and the communities where they do business.

André is actively involved with Project R.I.G.H.T. Incorporated, Massachusetts Minority Contractors Association, and the MPDC Train 2 Trades Program. He serves on the Program Advisory Committee for Facilities Maintenance at Madison Park Technical Vocational High School and is a member of the MHIC Racial Equity and Inclusion Committee.
