NEI General Contracting believes the most successful projects are those that engage and reflect the communities in which they are built.
All of our projects regularly include high minority, woman, and low-income participation and engagement of local subcontractors and workers. In order to achieve this enhanced participation, we have developed a community contracting strategy to both maximize the participation of local, emerging woman and minority-owned construction firms on our projects, as well as create an expanded recruitment and workforce development drive to hire workers from the communities in which we build. We believe local business development will significantly boost our ability to provide jobs to local workers. We also believe that developing long term, capacity-building relationships with emerging contractors will have a more lasting effect on the individual workers and the community in which they live.
