This project is phase 1A of the Whittier Choice Neighborhood initiative, designed to redevelop the site of the Whittier Street Apartments in Roxbury. Flat 9 at Whittier involved demolition and removal of the existing Whittier Street Apartments to make way for the new construction of three buildings totaling 92 rental units in both apartments and townhomes. The development includes amenities such as a community room, courtyard, office space for residents, and a playground.
