Overview:

Founded in 1974, Tropical Foods/El Platanero has been serving the Boston community with unique/hard-to-find products from the Caribbean, Central & South America, and Africa, while also providing essential everyday grocery needs. This new construction project expanded the original, dated, facility into a new, state of the art, multi-story retail supermarket with increased product and service capacity for the community.
