Overview:

American Legion Post 34 sits in the heart of Chelsea’s downtown Bellingham Square Historic District, and was the first American Legion building constructed in Massachusetts. This adaptive reuse includes creation of ten studio apartments of permanent supportive housing for formerly homeless veterans. Also included in the project is the development of community space and office facilities for the service provider.
